Consign with Us

We accept a wide variety of women's and children’s clothing and accessories, as well as home décor and giftable items.    

We accept items on a seasonal basis, and limit clothing drop offs to the first week of every month.  Non-clothing items can be dropped off any time we are open.  

1. Gather approximately 20 items (or less) in a reusable shopping bag or tote. 
2. Stop by with your items.  Ideally we will look through them quickly while you wait and return any items we are not able to consign at that time.  
3. You will fill out a short contract.
4. We will bag your items and store them while they wait to be processed.  We generally add items to inventory in the order they are dropped off.  The wait time can vary, but it may be up to a month.
5. We will price your items and add them to our inventory system.  At that time you will receive an email invitation to our consignment software.  This allows you to see the items we have in the store for you as well as track when they sell.  
6. After one (or more) of your items have sold you are welcome to take a payout or use your consignment credit in the store as store credit.  

• Consignor will be eligible for a payout equal to 40% of the sale price in the form of check or cash. Closet Traders will keep 60% of the sale price.
• Consignors spending their consignment credit as store credit will receive an additional 10% of their total credit to spend as store credit.

1. We will have your items available for sale for 90 days. We do discount items at 30 days and 60 days.  If your items do not sell during that period we can either return them to you or donate them for you.  We donate primarily to Sparrow’s Nest on Rt. 45 in Third Lake.
